Resilience and connection were the themes of this talk. An encounter happens twice: first in the mind and then for a lifetime in reality. On the 18th day of Ramadan in 2024, this concept set the tone for an evening spent with the audience at Cafe Nova in Antwerp. Together, we explored the essential ingredients needed for genuine encounters. Three key ingredients we discussed that evening were inclusion, cultural intelligence, and the power of a new narrative.
