You're looking for someone who gets it.

Not just communication skills. Not just an inclusion trainer. Someone who understands the complexity of what you're doing— and can bring structure, language, and the right kind of challenge to it.

That's what I try to be.

Facilitator leading a conversation during a workshop or meeting.

Big on clarity, courage and connection.

WHO I AM
I'm Artemis Kubala — facilitator, copywriter, moderator, and founder of Speaking Bug.
My background is unusual for this work: I trained in international and European law, in conflict & development and mediation. I've spent 10+ years at the intersection of communication, power, and inclusion — working with organisations across government, civil society, culture and business in Belgium and beyond.
What that background gives me isn't just knowledge of the topics. It's a particular way of listening — for what's being said, what isn't, and what the conversation actually needs.
SPEAKING BUG
The name is an homage to the unseen.
Just like insects quietly sustain ecosystems, impactful communication often works in the background — essential, but overlooked. Speaking Bug draws attention to the quiet work that moves things forward.
It's also a call to listen — to the subtle signals, the 'bugs in the system' that reveal where change is needed. From that attentiveness, meaningful solutions emerge.
VALUES AS PRINCIPLES, NOT BUZZWORDS
Clarity, because vague language protects the status quo. Real nuance deserves clear expression. I write and speak plainly — and I help organisations do the same.

Connection, because working across difference is a skill. Not a natural gift. A practice. I help teams build it — not through a single workshop, but through how they communicate every day.

Courage, because some conversations need a push.
I create the conditions for braver dialogue — whether I'm writing a newsletter or holding a room of 1,000 people.
