It always starts with a short call — free, 20 to 30 minutes. I ask questions, you ask questions, and we get a sense of whether there's a fit. If there is, I write up a clear proposal: what I'll do, by when, and at what price. Once we agree, we get started. I don't do vague handshakes or open-ended retainers. You'll always know what you're getting.
Newsletter writing starts at €500/month (excl. VAT) — this includes copywriting, layout, visuals, sending and a short impact report. I ask for a minimum of three months, because good communication builds momentum and you don't feel that from a single edition.
Workshops start at €1,100 (excl. VAT), depending on duration, preparation and travel.
Moderation is priced per project — get in touch with the details of your event and I'll send a clear quote within two working days.
Yes — and often that's where the most interesting work happens. Some of my longest collaborations have been with small NGOs, vzws and community organisations. Size doesn't determine whether communication matters.
If budget is a concern, say so in your first message. I occasionally work on a reduced fee for organisations whose mission I believe in, and we can always have an honest conversation about what's feasible.
Yes. Individual sessions are a different kind of work — and often the most direct.
In a one-on-one setting, there's nowhere to hide and no group dynamic to navigate. That's exactly what makes it valuable. I hold up a mirror, give honest feedback, and offer concrete tools to actually implement that feedback — not just think about it.
Depending on what you need, we can work on starting a podcast, preparing and rehearsing a presentation, or getting ready for a networking event or public appearance. The format is always practical: we work with your real material, in your real context.

Kom Maar Dichter is a podcast produced and hosted by Artemis Kubala. It brings together writers and thinkers for in-depth conversations about the writing process, creative doubt, lived experience, and what drives people to keep reaching for language. The podcast features voices from a range of backgrounds and literary traditions.
You can listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other platforms. There's also a full page on this website with more context and all episodes.
Yes. I work fluently in both. I've moderated multilingual events with real-time interpretation in Dutch, English and French. For workshops and newsletters, we agree on the working language at the start — whichever fits your audience best.
Yes to both — and they're more connected than they might seem.
I write website copy for organisations that want their communication to reflect who they actually are. That means positioning, tone, structure and the words themselves. I also edit and sharpen existing texts — whether that's a website, a grant application, a report or any other written material that needs to be clearer or more compelling.
For presentations, I help with both the content and the structure: what to say, in what order, and how to make it land. That includes slide design when needed.
If you're not sure whether what you need falls within what I do — just ask.
Yes. Moderation and hosting work is always project-based. For workshops, a single session is fine — though organisations that return for follow-up sessions tend to see more lasting change. For newsletters, I ask for a minimum of three months: one edition doesn't tell you much; three gives you something to learn from.
That's exactly what the intro call is for. Tell me what's going on — what you're trying to achieve, where communication is breaking down, what's coming up — and I'll be honest about whether and how I can help. No pitch, no pressure.
