Two back-to-back conversations at Avansa Kempen's M/V Kaffee in Mol, exploring why women have on average an hour less leisure time per day than men, the shame that surrounds women's pleasure, and shared enjoyment as a bridge between communities. The afternoon opened with Diana Molano, founder of Wij, Vrouwen, on the cultural differences in how pleasure is understood and lived — followed by a 45-minute interview with sociologist and pleasure researcher Linda Duits, author of Leuk! Pleidooi voor plezier. The event closed with conversation tables bringing together volunteers and professionals from cultural, anti-poverty and transcultural organisations.
